Capture the magic of your child’s swim journey with our underwater swim school photoshoots. I visit swim schools across Cairns to photograph kids in action beneath the water, creating unique and high-quality images that showcase their skills and confidence in the pool.

How It Works:
1. Book a Time Slot
To secure your child’s photoshoot, a $60 session fee is required upfront to secure your booking. This session fee includes 2 digital images!
2. Photoshoot
Each session is 10 minutes long, capturing dynamic underwater moments of your child as they swim and enjoy the water.
3. View Your Photos
After the shoot, you’ll receive a private online gallery of unedited images to choose from. Once you have chosen your favorite images, I will edit your selections. Please allow 1-2 weeks after you have chosen your selections to receive your final images.
Additional Photo Packages:
Your $60 booking includes 2 digital images. If you would like to purchase additional photos, the pricing is as follows:
- 2 more photos: +$40 ($100 total for 4 photos)
- 8 more photos: +$90 ($150 total for 10 photos)
- Full gallery: +$140 ($200 total)
Your $60 session fee is non-refundable.

Do I have to book?
Yes, booking is essential to make sure we have enough time to photograph every child. You can book a session directly through the online booking link your swim school will send out. A $60 session fee is required at the time of booking.

How long is each photoshoot?
Each underwater photoshoot session lasts 10 minutes, which is plenty of time to capture beautiful and dynamic images of your child. My camera can take multiple photos in a matter of seconds. This ensures I can capture every smile and silly face!
What if my child is not a strong swimmer?
As a parent or guardian, you’re welcome to join the photoshoot and hold your child to help them feel more at ease. I always respect your child’s comfort level and never push beyond it.
Can I get sibling photos done?
Absolutely! We encourage the whole family to get in and get photographed.
What does the $60 session fee cover?
The $60 session fee includes 2 digital images, which you can choose from your online gallery, and reserves your child’s spot.
What should my child wear for the photoshoot?
Your child can wear their regular swimwear. Bright, colorful swimsuits tend to look great in underwater photos! You can also bring along their favorite toy or a costume to add personality and help make them feel more at ease during the photoshoot.
How many photos will be taken during the shoot?
During the 10-minute session, I take multiple shots to capture a variety of angles and moments. The number of photos varies, but you can expect to receive a gallery with 10-20 photos to choose from.
Are the photos digitals or prints?
You’ll receive your photos as high-resolution digital images. After selecting your favorites from the online gallery, your images will be delivered directly to your email.
What photo packages are available?
We offer digital-only photo packages. Your $60 session fee includes 2 digital images. You can purchase additional photos, and the pricing is as follows:
- 2 additional photos for $40
- 8 additional photos for $90
- Full gallery for an additional $140
Can I purchase individual photos?
We only offer the above-listed packages for digital images; individual photos are not available separately.
Are the packages per child or per family?
All photo packages are per family. You can choose individual and group shots in each photo package.
Can I get in the water with my kids?
Absolutely! We encourage family participation. Joining your kids in the water adds to the fun and creates unique, memorable photos that you’ll cherish for years to come.
What happens after the photoshoot?
Within 1 week, you’ll receive a private online gallery to view the photos. These will be unedited images. Once you choose your favorite images, I will then edit your selections. 2 digital images are included with your session fee. If you want any additional photos you will choose which package you desire, I will send you a payment link, and then I will edit and send you your final images.
What if I don’t like any of the photos?
While we aim to capture the best moments, if you choose not to pick and download any images, your $60 session fee will not be refunded.
Is my child safe during the photoshoot?
Yes! I have extensive experience in underwater photography and always ensure the photoshoot is safe, fun, and comfortable for your child.
If your child is nervous or uncomfortable, we’ll take it slow and ensure they feel at ease. I have experience working with children in the water and can adjust the session to their comfort level to capture beautiful moments.
