What To Expect:

Your underwater pregnancy shoot will be an unforgettable experience! We’ll start with a consultation call to chat about your ideas and goals, ensuring everything is tailored just for you. On the day of your shoot, I’ll guide you through breathing techniques and poses so you feel comfortable and confident in the water, capturing stunning, one-of-a-kind images. I offer three unique underwater maternity packages.

A few days after your shoot, we’ll meet for your reveal session, where we’ll look through your photos together. You can select your favorite digital images and explore beautiful printed products from my à la carte menu to add to your package.

To book your session, a $200 deposit secures your spot. You’ll receive a contract to confirm your date, a personalized questionnaire to plan your session, and helpful reminders to keep you on track. I understand that these shoots are an investment, so to make it easier, I also offer flexible payment plans.

What Are Your Prices?

To book your photoshoot, a $200 deposit is required, which will be deducted from the total of your chosen package. After the shoot, we’ll have a reveal session where we’ll go through your images together and pick your favorites. If you’d like to add extra digitals or printed products, you can order them at that time. I’ll send you an invoice for the remaining balance, along with any extras, and we offer easy payment plans to make things more flexible.

Where Are You Located?

I am based in Cairns, Queensland (Australia). The pool that I use for my underwater photoshoots is Herb’s Training & Swim School in Parramatta Park. The pool is private with access to a shower & toilets.

Do I Need To Be A Strong Swimmer?

As long as you are not terrified of the water you will be fine! The pool has a shallow and deep end. The shallow end is 1.3m deep and the dive pit is 3.5m deep. We will take the pool session slow to get you comfortable.

Children must be comfortable in the water and be supervised by a parent at all times.

How Long Do I Need To Hold My Breath?

As long as you can. Only a few seconds at a time is necessary to get a beautiful photo.

Together, we will practice breathing techniques at a pace that suits you. The aim is to make you feel calm and at ease. This will help produce natural-looking and effortless portraits.

What Should I Wear?

Bright colors and flowy fabrics look amazing underwater! For pregnancy shoots any outfit that highlights your baby bump will work. I have a couple of dresses you are more than welcome to wear. However, I would recommend bringing your own outfits as well, something you love and will feel comfortable in.

Which Days Are Your Photo Shoots?

At the moment photoshoots are available on Fridays. Sometimes I can do photoshoots on Saturday morning by request.

How Long Are The Photo Shoots?

Your underwater photo shoot will be a fun and relaxed 2 hours. This gives us plenty of time for posing tips, breathing techniques, and capturing amazing photos without feeling rushed. For maternity sessions, I’ve found 2 hours is just the right amount of time to keep things enjoyable without getting too tiring.

Can My Partner Or Children Join The Shoot?

Absolutely! We encourage family participation!

When Should I Have My Pregnancy Photoshoot?

For the optimal portrayal in your maternity photoshoot, we recommend scheduling it between 28 to 36 weeks of pregnancy.

Is The Pool Heated?

Yes the pool is heated!

How Do I Book?

Send me an email and I will set up a time for us to chat over phone or Zoom. This gives us a chance to get to know each other and for me to talk you through the process. If you are happy with everything then we will choose a date and start planning your underwater photoshoot!

When And How Do I Pay?

A deposit of $200 is due when you book. You will be sent a booking link where you can pay by credit/debit card or bank transfer. Your remaining balance will be due 7 days before your photoshoot. Payment plans are available.

Any additional images or products can be paid for after your reveal session by cash, credit/debit, or bank transfer.

Do You Edit The Images?

Yes, as a professional photographer most of my work is in front of a computer. I edit every single image for basic brightening, color and minor tweaks before your reveal and ordering session. Once you select your artwork images, I further edit the selected images to prepare them for you. I spend hours transforming your images into works of art.

What Products Do You Offer?

I love wall art and offer museum-grade canvas, metal, and acrylic prints. You also have a choice of an album, a folio box, and matted and framed prints. I offer a wide range of product sizes to suit every need. I can also custom order additional sizes and products at your request.

How Long Will My Private Gallery Be Online?

Your private online gallery will be available for 12 months if you would like to order more images. I will send a reminder just before it expires. After 12 months, your photos will be deleted to make room for future photo shoots.
