Every underwater boudoir session is a personalized, one-of-a-kind experience. Your $300 session fee secures your date, covers all planning and preparation, and includes my time photographing you in the water. You’ll also receive 1 digital image of your choice to cherish.

After your photoshoot, we’ll meet for a relaxed viewing and design appointment. This is where you’ll see your images for the first time, choose your favorites, and select the artwork or digital collection that feels right for you.

Whether you prefer a small set of beautifully edited digitals, a framed fine art print, or a custom statement piece for your home, you only purchase what you love. No minimums, no pressure.

Your reveal session allows you to choose exactly what you want while experiencing the joy of seeing your images come to life. It gives you the freedom to invest in the pieces that speak to you most, rather than being boxed into a package that may not fit your needs.

What’s Included In The Session Fee?

The $300 session fee covers planning, preparation, my time photographing you in the water, and 1 digital image of your choice. Additional images are available for purchase.

Is Underwater Boudoir Safe?

Absolutely. Safety is my top priority. I ensure that the water is safe, you are comfortable, and the session pace suits you. If anything feels uncomfortable, we pause or adjust. I also have a safety swimmer with us whose only job is to keep you safe.

What Should I Wear?

Light, flowing fabrics like chiffon or organza work beautifully underwater. Swimwear, bodysuits, or lingerie are also perfect. Avoid heavy fabrics that may drag you down. I also shoot nudes and implied nudes.

Can I Bring A Friend For Support?

Yes! You can bring one friend if you’d like. They can offer moral support, but they are not allowed to be in the shoot.

Where Are You Located?

I am based in Cairns, Queensland (Australia). The pool that I use for my underwater photoshoots is Herb’s Training & Swim School in Parramatta Park. The pool is private with access to a shower & toilets.

Do I Need To Be A Strong Swimmer?

As long as you are not terrified of the water, you will be fine! The pool has a shallow and a deep end. The shallow end is 1.3m deep and the dive pit is 3.5m deep. We will take the pool session slowly to get you comfortable.

How Long Do I Need To Hold My Breath?

As long as you can. Only a few seconds at a time is necessary to get a beautiful photo.

Together, we will practice breathing techniques at a pace that suits you. The aim is to make you feel calm and at ease. This will help produce natural-looking and effortless portraits.

Which Days Are Your Photo Shoots?

At the moment, photoshoots are available on Friday and Saturday mornings. We will start the shoot at 7 am to get the best light. I want your photos to be as beautiful as they can be. If we go early in the morning, we can get those dreamy ethereal shots.

How Long Is The Session?

Sessions are usually around 2-3 hours. We’ll take as much time as you need for posing, breathing techniques, and capturing beautiful photos at your own pace. I do not rush or have a set time limit on how long the session lasts.

How Do I Order More Images?

Every underwater portrait session has a $300 session fee, which includes 1 digital image of your choice. Any other images and artwork are purchased separately — you only buy what you love. After your shoot, we’ll meet for a relaxed reveal session where you can choose your favorite images and select prints or digital collections that feel right for you. Every piece is professionally edited, high-quality, and designed to be treasured for years to come.

Will My Images Be Private?

Yes. Privacy is extremely important. Your images will only be shared with your permission, and I take care to maintain discretion at all times.

Will I Look “Good” In The Water?

Absolutely! The water is incredibly flattering. The water allows you to elongate your body, creating long lines and shapes that create beautiful images. Every pose is guided to highlight your best angles.

How Do I Prepare For My Shoot?

I’ll guide you on what to wear, hair and makeup suggestions, and how to feel relaxed in the water. Hydrating, getting a good night’s sleep, and eating breakfast will help you have energy for your shoot. If you have your own pool at home, I can give you some breathing techniques and poses to practice on your own. This way, you are fully confident and prepared on the day of your shoot!

Is The Pool Heated?

Yes the pool is heated!

How Do I Book?

Send me an email and I will set up a time for us to chat over phone or Zoom. This gives us a chance to get to know each other and for me to talk you through the process. If you are happy with everything then we will choose a date and start planning your underwater photoshoot!

When And How Do I Pay?

To book your session, a $300 session fee secures your date.
After your reveal session, you pay only for the images or artwork you choose. Payment can be made by card, cash, or bank transfer, and your products are delivered once payment is complete.

Do You Edit The Images?

Yes, as a professional photographer most of my work is in front of a computer. I edit every single image for basic brightening, color and minor tweaks before your reveal and ordering session. Once you select your artwork images, I further edit the selected images to prepare them for you. I spend hours transforming your images into works of art.

What Products Do You Offer?

I love wall art and offer museum-grade canvas, metal, and acrylic prints. You also have a choice of an album, a folio box, and matted and framed prints. I offer a wide range of product sizes to suit every need. I can also custom order additional sizes and products at your request.

How Long Will My Private Gallery Be Online?

Your private online gallery will be available for 12 months if you would like to order more images. I will send a reminder just before it expires. After 12 months, your photos will be deleted to make room for future photo shoots.

Are You Insured?

Absolutely! I am fully insured for public liability and equipment insurance.
